The 10 Fundamentals of Cleansing
Our full-day juice cleanse consists of 5 juices. You can do a cleanse for one day, three days, five days, or however long you feel your body needs to reset. If you want to do a multi-day cleanse, simply order that number of cleanses.
Our juices are made fresh and to order, so they may naturally separate. Give them a good shake before opening. Drink each portion in 2-3-hour intervals or whenever you start feeling hungry. The timing is not set in stone.
If you are a coffee drinker (like we are) & you're concerned about caffeine withdrawals during your juice cleanse, don't worry!
Coffee lovers can rest easy: drinking small amounts of black coffee is okay!
If you find yourself feeling very hungry during the cleanse, take a moment to check in with yourself. Are you truly hungry or just craving the sensation of chewing? If it's the latter, try to distract yourself with activities like drinking water, reading, or going for a walk.
It's important to listen to your body, so if you feel like you need to eat or you start feeling dizzy or lightheaded, don't hesitate to do so. Supplementing with these juices can be beneficial for your body, even if you have them for breakfast and lunch and then eat something else for dinner.
Upon receiving the juices, be sure to refrigerate them immediately. If you are doing a cleanse longer than two days, you should freeze the juices that you won't be consuming within 48 hours, then move them to the refrigerator to defrost the night before you need them.
Don't forget to drink plenty of water throughout the cleanse. It will help you feel full and also assist your body in flushing out toxins.
Intense exercise is not recommended during the cleanse as it can be too much for the body. Instead, try gentle exercises like stretching and yoga to help relax your body and mind.
If your body is genuinely asking for food, you can have one serving of raw vegetables (any kind you like) with a pinch of salt to supplement the sodium that the cleanse may lack. This is an exception to the cleanse and should only be done if your body truly needs solid food. If you do not want to eat solid food, you can try eating a spoonful of coconut oil. The good fats in it may help curb your appetite until it's time for the next juice.
We never recommend pushing yourself beyond your comfort level. Slowly ease yourself into juice cleansing, even if it means starting one day at a time until you can finally complete a full cleanse!
